Privacy policy
Pet & Plant Health AI collects only the account, profile, media, and usage data needed to provide care guidance and operate the service.
Data we collect
We process account identifiers, care profiles, uploaded pet, plant, and aquarium media, diagnosis notes, billing status, support messages, and operational logs. We do not sell personal information.
Photo and media retention
Uploaded diagnostic media is short-lived. Production configuration is `MEDIA_RETENTION_HOURS=1`, so diagnostic photos are designed to be deleted within 1 hour after processing unless a shorter operational cleanup applies.
Access, export, and deletion
Users can request export or deletion of their account data. The backend includes GDPR-style export and delete endpoints that remove user profiles, media records, diagnoses, subscriptions, and related usage rows.
Processors and transfers
The service uses Clerk for authentication, Stripe and RevenueCat for billing state, AWS for hosting and media storage, Sentry for error reporting when configured, and the shared Veraminds AI orchestrator for diagnosis processing.
